Over the years, Roundview Capital has developed an internship program designed to provide valuable education to students interested in working in finance and investing. Spots are limited, so we are only able to select a few students each year.
What can you expect from an internship at Roundview Capital?
You will learn the building blocks of investing. Interns will strengthen their analytical skills by analyzing and reviewing different companies, industries, and deals. The capstone project is an investment pitch presented to the Partners/Principals of Roundview Capital. You will have the opportunity to form meaningful relationships with other interns, meet other Roundview alums, and engage with friends of the Firm who have been successful in a variety of businesses. Interns usually leave Roundview with a broader perspective of the business world.
Do I need to have studied economics or finance or have advanced skills in math?
No specific major is required, although quantitative skills are helpful. Ultimately, we want people who are smart, hardworking, and curious.
How should I apply?
Send a resume, unofficial transcript, and cover letter to email@example.com.
Use your cover letter to explain why you want this internship. Also, include answers to these questions using four sentences or fewer for each.
- Discuss a time when you were unsure whether to follow conventional wisdom. What did you decide and why?
- Identify a powerful or interesting idea you encountered in the past four years.
