Stephen K. Shueh is a founder and Managing Partner of Roundview Capital. Over the last 25+ years, Steve has helped transform the firm into a multi-family office with professionals who have a background in all facets of wealth management. He has enjoyed bringing together a talented team whose goal is to provide clients with peace of mind through integrated planning and investing.

Outside of Roundview, he serves on various boards that complement his love of investing by providing him with insight into different businesses and industries. His volunteer engagements allow him to pursue his passions of community building, education, and youth development.

The Bank of Princeton (TBOP) – He was an early investor in, and serves on the Board of Directors of, The Bank of Princeton where he chairs the investment committee. TBOP was founded in 2007 and went public in 2017. The bank now has over $2 billion in assets and a network of retail branches from Philadelphia, PA to New Brunswick, NJ.

Greyscale AI – Steve served on the Board of Directors of Greyscale, a Series A-funded Silicon Valley company that combines advanced imaging solutions with artificial intelligence/machine learning software to offer customers a comprehensive foreign matter inspection solution.

Lightbox Venture Capital – Steve served on the board of directors for the various funds managed by Lightbox Ventures. Lightbox is an early-stage venture firm in Mumbai, India. The firm was founded in 2014 when Lightbox raised a fund to acquire Indian investments made by venture firms Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers (KPCB) and Ram Shriram’s Sherpalo Ventures.

Grounds for Sculpture (GFS) – He is on the Investment Committee for the endowment of GFS. GFS is a 42-acre sculpture park, museum, and arboretum founded by artist and philanthropist J. Seward Johnson.

United Way of Greater Mercer County (UWGMC) – Steve chairs the Endowment Management Committee of the UWGMC. He has served as Vice Chair of the UWGMC. The UWGMC invests in programs, community partnerships, and volunteer engagement in central NJ.

The Princeton Public Library – He advises the Investment Committee for the Endowment. The Princeton Public Library serves the Princeton-area community, and is the most visited municipal public library in the state.

The Princeton Family YMCA – Steve has been involved with the Princeton Family YMCA over the years. As a child, this is where he learned to swim. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Y and chaired the joint Trustees of the Princeton YMCA YWCA.

The Stoutsburg Sourland African American Museum – The mission of the Stoutsburg Sourland African American Museum is to tell the story of the unique culture, experiences, and contributions of the African American community of the Sourland Mountain Region. Steve serves on the Musuem’s investment committee.

Other Community Organizations – He enjoys being involved in community organizations that support education and youth development. These include: Princeton University (Class President), Montgomery Township Parks & Recreation Committee (Chair), the Lawrenceville School Parents Fund (Past Chair), and Montgomery Township Education Foundation (Vice President).

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. Steve has completed the Marine Corps, New York, San Diego, and Philadelphia Marathons. Other races that he has enjoyed include the Virginia Beach Rock ‘n Roll Half Marathon, the Lincoln, Nebraska Half Marathon, and the Philadelphia Distance Run.

Howard T. Alter is a founder and Managing Partner of Roundview Capital and is on Roundview Capital’s investment committee. His focus is on client relationships, research, and firm management.

Mr. Alter received his undergraduate degree in Finance from The George Washington University and holds an MBA from The New York University in Finance. Upon graduation Mr. Alter initially worked in finance in the pharmaceutical industry in New York City.Roundview Capital was formed as Alter Asset Management. Howard Alter and Stephen Shueh, established the firm to provide discretionary Investment Management and Family CFO services for high net worth individuals and families. Mr. Alter has worked with an outstanding team of professionals for over a quarter of a century to accomplish this goal, and provide an exceptional level of service.Mr. Alter has had significant community interests and served on the boards of a variety of organizations including the Schwab Advisory Board, Famis, LLC, Fungoplay, LLC, My Purpose Party, LLC, Beth El Synagogue and the Princeton Friends School. His charitable interests are focused on building the self-esteem of children and medical research.

In his free time Howard enjoys long distance running and has completed numerous marathons including those held in New York City, Chicago, San Diego, Memphis, and Quebec, Canada. He also loves baseball history.

Mr. Alter considers his greatest achievement to be his family. He has been married for over thirty years to his wife Nancy, and they have three children together. The Alter family resides in Pennington, NJ.

Donald Hofmann has a successful 35-year track record in private equity, and has served on over 30 corporate boards, often as Chairman. He is currently a lead investor and board member in health care companies engaged in cloud-based network information, patient monitoring programs and predictive analytics, and health care services. His other investments are focused on improving technology for industrial applications.

Mr. Hofmann is a former Senior Partner of JP Morgan Partners and its predecessors. He was a senior partner for 15 years and was involved in all aspects of the management of the firm. He served as practice group leader and managed many of the firm’s lead investments in the consumer and industrial sectors. He was also a Founder and Managing Partner of Crystal Ridge Partners, a middle market private equity firm.

He is Chairman Emeritus of Penn Medicine Princeton Healthcare System. He served as Chairman when Princeton Healthcare built a $500 million replacement facility and raised $175 million, a record amount for a community hospital in the US.

Mr. Hofmann has also been instrumental in helping HomeFront eradicate family homelessness in Mercer County, New Jersey. He served as Chairman of the Board and led two successful capital campaigns; the second campaign funded the creation of a nationally recognized campus that provides shelter, medical care, job training, and healing for previously homeless families.

Don enjoys spending time with his wife and their two children and five grandchildren. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BBA from Hofstra University.

Andrew Lieu is a Partner of Roundview Capital and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER(TM) professional. In addition to working with clients on investment management and financial planning, Andrew is a key member of the firm’s investment committee.

Prior to joining Roundview Capital, Andrew was a financial analyst at Citigroup in the Capital Markets & Banking division. He also worked for Merrill Lynch in Hong Kong in the Investment Banking division.

Andrew graduated from Princeton University with a degree in Operations Research and Financial Engineering and a certificate in Finance. While at Princeton, he was captain of the Men’s Varsity Tennis Team. Andrew also earned an M.B.A. with distinction from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University, where he specialized in Finance, Accounting, Taxation and Business Law, and Management. While at NYU, he was honored with the designation of Glucksman Institute Fellow and Stern Scholar and was an investment analyst for the Michael Price Student Investment Fund.

Andrew married his college sweetheart, Bonnie, in August 2008 and together they have two daughters and one son. In his free time, Andrew enjoys running, tennis, playing with his children. He serves as a Trustee of the Princeton Area Community Foundation, a public charity serving central New Jersey that promotes philanthropy and support local nonprofits with grants, advocacy, and professional guidance. Andrew also serves on the Board of Trustees of National Junior Tennis and Learning of Trenton, an organization that enriches the lives of under-resourced youth through innovative tennis, education, and mentoring programs.

Matthew D. Wallack is the Chief Investment Officer of Roundview Capital. He oversees and coordinates investment research at the firm in addition to managing client portfolios.

Matthew earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and received a postgraduate Diploma in Economics from the London School of Economics & Political Science. He graduated cum laude from Georgetown University with a major in Economics and a minor in History. Matthew began his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Davis. He is a CFA charterholder.

Matthew has a longstanding passion for investing that predates his professional experience in the business. He spent eight years at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers in Princeton, New Jersey, where he was a Vice President researching high yield and convertible bonds, syndicated corporate loans as well as equities and distressed debt. He subsequently worked as a Vice President and credit analyst for Wexford Capital, a $7 billion hedge fund and private equity firm in Greenwich, Connecticut. He left Wexford to found the independent investment advisory firm Orchard Park Capital in 2008, and he joined Roundview in 2014.

Matthew’s early career was as a Foreign Service Officer in the U.S. Department of State. He served tours of duty in Madrid, Singapore, the Department of State Executive Secretariat (Operations Center) and the White House Situation Room, where he was Senior Duty Officer. He was a member of the Investment Subcommittee of his alma mater, Georgetown Day School, for ten years, and he currently serves in a similar capacity at All Saints Church in Princeton, New Jersey.

Matthew is married with two children. His interests include college basketball, bicycling, train travel and track & field. Competing primarily in the 200m and 400m dashes, he has earned USATF Master’s All-American status numerous times over the past decade-plus, most recently in 2023.

Nicholas A. Shelton is a Principal of Roundview Capital and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. His focuses are investment research and working closely with clients, assisting them throughout the key stages of their financial lives. Nick has expertise in the use of investment technology and is passionate about researching and leveraging cutting edge financial tools and advancements.

Nick graduated with honors from the University of Michigan with a BA in Economics and History. He has prior experience in research and consulting in the medical, government contracting, and consumer packaged goods industries.

Nick is originally from Bakersfield, CA. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, spending time with his family, and cheering on the Las Vegas Raiders.

Janet G. Chen is responsible for Roundview Capital’s internal finances. She is a tax professional who is a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents, and she also enjoys assisting non-profit organizations to meet their financial reporting requirements. Ms. Chen received her BS and MS in Earth Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and currently is a member of the institute’s Educational Council. While at M.I.T., she was a member of the tennis team and continues to be an avid tennis player.
